Palestine, which was known as the land of the Canaanites, came to being from the interaction of the local and the philistines who originated from the island of Crete. The locals and the foreigners intermarried bringing into being the word Palestine. The Palestinian Arabs lived traditional lives socially and politically thus the Zionist invasion greatly corrupted their way of life. The Palestinian Arabs were the first contenders in the fight against the Zionist invasion in their land. The Palestinian Arabs are Muslims who tend to rebel against the introduction of the new religion as they felt that it would make their people lose their identity as the immigration of new inhabitants was on the rise thus they had to take action to combat the increasing number of the people.

The invention of atomic energy was a commendable finding and marked the most significant mile stone in the field of science and technology. However, this invention brought about several environmental and safety concerns among scientists as well as the general public. These concerns included the effects of nuclear energy on the environment and the capability that scientist had in containing or preventing terrorists from misusing this energy. As a result, the use of nuclear energy sources faced great opposition in several states. During warfare, the involved parties tend to overlook important values such as humanity an end up making decisions that are inclined towards specific concerns such as the supremacy of a state (Thomas, p.5). Even so warfare is not the best thing in resolving any existing conflicts among nations or people living in a society. This is because warfare involves huge and significant decisions that may have heavy implications on the lives of people both in the present and future.

The core American values are the standards by which all Americans use to distinguish what is desirable and what is not. These values are therefore judgments which are based on a cultural viewpoint. It is these values that are responsible for molding our personalities as well as our behavior. In the year 1970, Robin M. Williams, an American sociologist, identified ten American values that he believed were the most important. Out of these ten, I believe that the most important ones of the ten include Equal opportunity, progress, freedom, material comfort and finally democracy and enterprise.

Marcus Tullius Cicero was born on the 3rd January 106 B.C.E. He was also known as Tully. He reigned from a small town known as Arpinum which is located on south-eastern part of Rome (Boardman, Griffin & Murray 45-67). The actual meaning of Cicero is chickpea and originated from one of his ancestor who had a wart that resembled a chickpea. In Rome, Cicero studied philosophy, law and literature. In his time, Cicero was an important statesman but he was famously known as an author. His life was faced with a lot of dramatic turns. The great body of his writings including the personal correspondence forms the central interest of his life. He was widely associated with republican or aristocratic party in Rome. He was also an important leader in the era of Pompey and Julius Ceaser. In his time, he was vocal of ideals and objected tyranny. His principles opposed corruption and bureaucracy. This paper tries to give an account of Cicero and the influences he had in his time and the extension in the modern times.

Production of nuclear energy stands on the edge between the greatest hopes of humanity and its solemn fears of disasters in the future. It provides clean energy, an alternative that free the world from manacle of over dependence on depleting fossil fuels, such as gas, oil, and coal that are responsible for high levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. It will also help eliminate the hunger for power and electricity and meet demands of electricity of the future. On the other hand, nuclear power calls for great disasters such as earthquakes caused by ruptured power plants. This wraps up that nuclear power production has a good side and the bad side, which restrict many countries from installing it.

In the course of my studies, I have been privileged to encounter quite a number of cuisines that come from all over the world. I have had the opportunity to not only sample but learn to cook as well, some of the best cuisines in this world. I learnt that French cuisine, one of the many cuisines that I have experienced, pays a great deal of attention to cheese, wine and bread that all play a vital role in the French cuisine. The French are also keen on flavors and perhaps that is why they prefer to put ingredients such as wine in their food.
Another cuisine that is entirely based on culture is the Italian cuisine. This particular cuisine is primarily centered on simplicity. The Italian cuisine is known to be very simple and most dishes only spot up to four ingredients. The Italian culture pays special attention to the quality of the ingredients as well. Some of the min ingredients in this cuisine include potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, maize and wheat based foods such as pasta

Scientists claim that the intense shrinking of Lake Michigan could be closely associated to some of the Geographical changes that the area has experienced over time. So what exactly could the cause of the shrinking of Lake Michigan?

No matter how right it may appear, liberating a person who has been hobbled by chains and expecting him to compete equally with others is completely unfair (Lyndon Johnson, 1965). There is need to empower such a person by creating a favourable environment for him to compete effectively. The corn system in America is highly unstable and has several negative influences on health and the economy. These are the main reasons why the idea of growing corn in America should be revised or replaced with a more productive investment. Corn produces some beneficial products such as corn flour which is used as a food, cornmeal, grits, sweet corn, and hominy. However, it has negative effects in public health and the economy of America. It is mostly used as animal feed and its negative health effects on animals are transferred to humans when they take animal products.In addition, it affects the economy of the United States negatively. Corn makes use of land which is an important factor for production. Since it economic contribution is very low this resource ends up being wasted unlike a situation where the same would be used for industrial or to produce other products that would yield better results. The government directs heavy subsidies to corn farming whereas it has so many health-related and uneconomical issues. Corn has fattening effects on cattle, hogs, and chicken. These effects are transferred to humans and one of the biggest health concerns caused by corn is obesity. Although corn is food that can provide nourishment, it is also a vice that affects public health and the economy of the United States.

At the end of World War II, the eleven countries which formed the Allied Powers (Australia, Canada, China, Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, France, India and the United States) indicted and prosecuted military, political and diplomatic leaders on account of crimes against humanity and War crimes that were carried out in Southeast Asia between the years 1928-1945[ A C Brackman, The Other Nuremberg: The Untold Story of the Tokyo War Crimes Trials ( Morrow, New York 1987)76]. The trials were coined Tokyo trials since the proceedings took place in the city. The trials stood alongside Nuremberg Trials since they contributed to International law.
